    sin(double) takes ~ 10000us

    vs sinf(float) taking ~ 180000us

    i think i'll go with the speed over the precision.

    you should have seen it when i had ALL those variables as floats. it was quite chunky. maybe 5fps. i just tried changing that last float variable to a double and i think i gained a couple extra fps....
