    xinput for joystick

    Is it possible to create a usb joystick device that can appear as a microsoft xinput device?

    It might be possible, if some sort of specification exists for what type of USB device is necessary.

    Of course, that spec needs to be something more open and well documented than "only works with XBox360 controllers" and/or the special features are proprietary to Microsoft.

    You can use x360ce to convert regular joystick to xinput.

    sorry for the late reply, i have been doing alot googling about this and did find it. looks like that would be a driver that does that. thanks
