Blink a led in x time

I want to use a microcontroller for a project to my university. I want that this microcontroller blink a led in x time. for example: 2 in 2 hours this led will blink. The time that this led will blink, can be changed on computer with USB cable.

Someone have an ideia how can I do this?

    Best regards

Blend the ReadASCIIString example and the Blink example.

    They're in Arduino's menu:

    File > Examples > 01.Basics > Blink
    File > Examples > 04.Communication > ReadASCIIString

If you do buy an Arduino Micro instead of a Teensy, please post your questions on the Arduino forum.
