    Off topic - Quantum computing

this one is just a discussion about quantum computing

from what i understand a quantum computer uses qubits instead of bits -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_computing

can a modern processor emulate this concept ?

is anything happening in the world of development boards to make this technology available ?

No. Although there is stuff such as the Rigetti Forest, it does not emulate, but is a demonstrator.

There are no off-the-self industrial solutions available that use "quantum" computers. The last I looked, Google and IBM had 20 qubit done boards, and IBM had 50 qubit proto. But there is (still?) no proof that increasing the number of qubits increase the likelihood of legit data.

I am content to patently wait for the Teensy 4 and maintain my version of reality and deterministic computational behavior. Go to hackernews and slashdot to read the latest conjectures.
