Can't get slow blink or fast blink to work

Just got teensy 3. Plugged in USB and led lights up just as it should. Great. Started teensy software and didn't recognise board....searched forum and website finally figured out I had the old version and i needed the one from hardware, tools. Recognised the board...great. Now opened the blink_fast and loaded (got "download complete") and rebooted (got "reboot OK") and.....nothing. Tried blink_slow. Same result.
Disabled security essntials. Didn't help.
Running win 7 64bit. Arduuino 1.0.4 loaded.
Does anyone have any ideas please ?
 
Thanks for quick reply. No I didn't change pin yet but I did read a bit further and loaded from arduino file, examples, 01.basics, blink and it worked.
Thanks. I will check the pin 13 as well.
