    Teensy 3.0 bootloader stopped working

I just got the unit and wired it up. It seemed to work fine, and I uploaded the example bink program easily. I changed the blink rate from 1/second to 10/second and hit upload. It looked like it worked, but the unit just stopped responding. when I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it enumerates as a CDC, but when I click on the reset button, it just locks up and does nothing. It worked a couple times then just stopped. I undersand the bootloader is on a separate chip, so i'm not sure how I broke this one. Is there some way to reflash it without the bootloader or is there some way to restore (or test) the bootloader?

    thanks,
    reza

turns out somehow it killed my usb port on my monitor (?) -- plugging it into a different usb port works fine. strange.
