I would like to use the teensy 3.0 to control 12v WS2811 lights. Does the Teensy and the lights need to be powered by the same power supply or can I use on power supply for the teensy (3.3v) and another for the lights (12v)? If they need to be shared, what is a good way to mix the two? I was planning on powering lights using a PC power supply. This has both 5v and 12v coming from the power supply. Thanks.
