I'm pretty new to working with electronics and microcontrollers.... so what i'm gathering may be totally incorrect. so i guess i'll ask those of you who have much more experience.
if the VIN and VUSB pins were separated, and a protection circuit module was placed in between the two, would charging LiPo batteries be possible through USB?
would you still be able to access program mode in this setup?
ideally, i'm looking to start making some LED props (similar to neep's flairstaff) that the existing USB port acts as a charger, along with the ability to update software via the same port. am i totally crazy in thinking this is possible using the pre-existing USB port?
