Feasability of using FTDI EVE chip wth T3

I communicates with SPI/I2C at 3.3V so that should be no problem.
Also it has on chip graphics programming so a frame buffer should not be necessary.
 
Is it Mouser part number # 932-MIKROE-1429 (sorry, couldn't find a way to get a reliable direct link to this part on their website)
 
ahh ok.. but i think i could run quake on this chip with the t3.

The performance is close to the voodoo 2 gpu.

I've gone through the sample projects (they all have arduino code in them) on http://www.ftdichip.com/EVE.htm . I find these all pretty difficult to understand .

When you read the programmers guide , it seems like you just have to initialize the display and can start with some simple line/circle drawing ... But the Arduino sample projects aren't exactly as simple as that :(
