Powering a long ws2811 strip from batteries

Hello,
I'd like to power a strip of 160 ws2811 leds from a battery system that runs at 7.4v
I was thinking of using 2 LM1084 regulator, 1 at each end of the strip. If the strip pulls more than 5a, will the current be divided among the 2 regulators or do I need extra parts ?
