Teensy 3.0 + SD Card w/o SD card shield. How?

Hi all,
At first I want to note that I'm pretty much new to electronics .

As far as I understand there is no need for SD Shield in Teensy 3.0 - voltage is already 3.3v.
Here is my concern: What to do with MISO (7) pin? In Shiled's diagram it is pulled-up with 10k resistor. Also, should pin 1 and 8 be left floating or be pulled-up with 50k-100k resistor (according to this document)?
