octoWS2811 with just 2 strips

if i only want to use 2 strips: one on pin 2 and one on pin 14, can i use the other pins for things not related to the octo library?

i could not find anything that sets the number of strips used.

No, you can't use those other 6 pins. OctoWS2811 always drives all 8 pins, plus the 3 reserved pins.

It should be pretty easy. Neither OctoWS2811 nor DmxReceiver use much CPU time.
