It's not a compiler bug, it fails by design. I asked this on stack overflow and got some pretty comprehensive answers. I'll try to fix it later today when I come back from work.

The forwarding problem totally confused me, but I added copy ctor and assignment op and made some rather cosmetic changes.

Yeah, maybe a change of weekday makes a significant difference - it was warm and sunny yesterday, but I didn't understand the changes myself.
