Hopefully I am wrong, please someone say so...
I did find a lot of examples showing how to use the teensy as a MIDI controller. But I want to use Teensy as a sound generator, and I want to connect a keyboard controller to it.
This is very easy to do with an iPad for instance and I have done that.
However, it appears that it does not work in general with a USB Midi keyboard controller, and I can't find instructions to make this work.
Can anybody help please ?

If you have a standard MIDI din output you could connect it to the teensy vis a standard midi plug. The iconnect midi products can also act as a bridge between both devices.

thank you - in the works

Thank you, it's in the works....

Thank you for your kind words !
I designed it to midi-fy my Monotron Duo. It hosts a dual DAC and a dual digital potentiometer. With the Teensy 3.1 I have 3 DAC outputs in total.
Here is a demo:

The board is fitted with another I/O pad from the teensy, I thought that I would need it to generate the gate signal for the monotron duo - but it's no longer needed (unlike the monotron, the Duo generates its own gate signal).
So now I will use that I/O as a Midi input.
I made 5 of these boards, I still have 4 and just put one on eBay for sale.
