Update on Arduino IDE delays when Tools selected and Bluetooth present

Bluetooth causes Arduino IDE to incur substantial delays when opening or engaging the Tools menu.
I know this topic has been discussed in the past, but using current Arduino 1.0.5r2, and current TeensyDuino 1.19:

Is there anything that can be done to reduce these delays?
