Large portable led display project, and a question about power / cable connectors!

I'm working on an led display project that has some special requirements due to it's need to be portable and fit in a fairly small-ish container.
This led me to develop a folding led panel system that would need to be connected to the power supply manually each time it is setup.

Here's a 3d animated mockup of how it would be setup:

2 questions if I can!

1) First off, is there anything glaringly obviously wrong with the plan, thus far?

2) Any recommendations on plugs / power connectors rated at roughly 5v 50a ?

regarding the power connectors, I've been searching for a couple hours, and I see a few industrial types from molex, and a few other brands that are rated for 30-60+amps but at incredibly high AC voltages... They're really expensive and huge, I'm not sure what's overkill for this project and whats not considering I'm dealing with 5 volts, and no more draw than 50 amps through any given connector.

I know the typical barrel plug connector is out even if I could get a beefier gauge of wire in there, but I would like something decently easy to plug/unplug like that.

Your thoughts and advice are hugely appreciated!
Thank you :)

I'd recommend running the power only to the LEDs. To power the Teensy, run one small pair of wires from the LEDs, together with the data cable. It's best if the Teensy ground and LED power ground meet at or close to the LED data inputs.

Here's an older but really well designed project with a lot of good design into making a video well portable and rugged.
