    Teensy on KiCad?

Has anyone copied the Teensy 3.1 schematic into KiCad or other free schematiic editor out there? Of the free tools out there, which one do you prefer?

I know this was posted a while back, but it came up while I was searching for the same.

I found this: https://github.com/XenGi/kicad_teensy and it looks good!

I haven't tested yet but it's the one I used for a board that also has the audio board piggy backed. Looks pretty complete.

I found this a little too complete. Sometimes you only want the outer rows, while it has throughholes for every pad and connector. When laying out a board all those interior PTHs get in the way of routing.

As a result, I made my own Kicad symbol that only includes the 48 pins on the exterior edges, and thus works perfectly with a standard 48-pin DIP footprint. If interested I can publish the symbol.
