I'm looking to add a small amount of NVRAM to a project using the Teensy 3.1. I need to write new data to NVRAM constantly, so using the EEPROM is out as it would only last a very short time.

I'm looking at this chip: http://www.adestotech.com/sites/default/files/datasheets/DS-RM24EP32.pdf

It uses I2C, so I think it should be compatible with existing Arduino/Teensy libraries. Does anyone see an issue with using this NVRAM chip with a Teensy 3.1.

As a side note, I received my Teensy 3.1 units today and man are they small! They are significantly smaller than the Arduino Micro that I've outgrown, but pack a whole lot more capability. Why would anyone buy an Arduino Micro when the Teensy 3.1 is available?

Thanks! It's only $0.53/ea at Mouser for the 32k and only $0.82/ea for the 128k. Significantly less expensive than anything else I've found.

Nice find as it also supports I2C bus frequency do 1MHz.
Interesting is its tolerance to gamma radiation. Flying into space ?
