I'm trying to use the Encoder library v1.2, running the "Basic" example sketch compiled with Arduino IDE v1.5.7 on a Due with encoder attached to pins (5,6) plus ground. Regardless of which direction I rotate the encoder it only counts up -- never down. Running the same sketch on my Uno R3 board but using pins (2,3) (I want to use interrupts,) and it works fine -- counts up and down as I expect.

I also tried the "NoInterrupts" example sketch and it also only counts up on the Due and works fine on the Uno.
