I have been using this Teensy 2.0++ successfully for the past 50 or so ps3 nor dumps/flashes.

It recently started to give me errors, for no apparent reason. Each ps3 nor dump has random hex errors that differ in location and usually are off by 2. (ie BF becomes DF) (0F becomes 0C, etc), you get the idea.

I rewired the teensy many times with new kynar wire and plenty of flux, and still same.

Originally i had teensy 2.0++ (with voltage reg installed) rigged to 360clip adaptor board, and left that untouched as it worked for mulitple ps3 flashes, using the 360 nor clip. It was this setup that failed and gave the random hex errors, so i decided to solder teensy directly to the ps3 mb, cutting out the middle connections. I have soldered it many times before, and all solder joints are clean and shiny with good flux. Still same hex errors. I programmed bootloader hex many times and still same issue prevails.

Im baffled. Is teensy faulty?

what can i try

Thanks
