Hi guys,

Does anybody know if I can re-claim the SCLK and MOS pins, pins 4 and 7, if I am not using the SD slot for playback audio ?
I'd need them for muxes and shift registers.

Are there any other pins on the audio adapter that are optional or that could be share with the audio adapter ?

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
Nicolas.

Hey sorry I can't help. I am way over my head here!! I am curious though, what are you building? Good luck with your project and merry Christmas to you too!

Are you talking about this audio adaptor?

Pin 4 isn't connected at all, which is why I'm not sure which product you're really asking about.

As you can see on the schematic (scroll down on that page), pins 6, 7, 10, 12 and 14 only go to the SD socket and the unpopulated W25Q128 chip. If you haven't added that chip and there's no SD card in the socket, then those signals connect to nothing and you can use them for other stuff.

Hi paul,

Yes I am using your adapter. Sorry for the typo, I meant 7 and 14.
Thank you for the specifics. Very handy.
