Hi,

I am hoping to make a smallish matrix of leds soldering leds together in a matrix. I'm building by hnad because I want farter spaced apart, somewhat irregular grid... Anyway, I'm wondering what parts I need to order in order to accomplish this using a teensy3 to drive it.

My hope is to use some existing code with the teensy. I saw Paul's code for the super large matrixes... is that basically the same thing? I'm think 150 pixels max, 1.5 ft x 3 ft or something along those lines. A pixel every 2-3 inches. One thing I'd like is to be able to dim the leds, or have control over the brightness. Also, if not too difficult, control over the speed of play. (I could also alter the video file playback speed before outputting to SD card, it's just a nice to have, not a must have) Is there a way to have the teensy be stand alone, like with a sd card with a video file on it? What are the parts I'd need to order?

Teensy 3
power supply (size?)
Leds (WS2812b, WS2811?)
what else?

Thank you so much!
