Teensy LC + CC3000 wifi modul ?

i want to make sure i can use the LC, since it can not supply or handle 5v signals.

should i supply the cc3000 with the 3.3v from the LC or with 5V from the Vin pin?

The Adafruit project page you linked to shows a HC4050 chip on their CC3000 board, which is a level converter (in this case 3.3V <-> 5V I believe).
I also notice it's out of stock. Is there a reason you don't want to use a cheaper option for Wifi such as ESP8266 http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/WiFi-Serial-Transceiver-Module-w-ESP8266-p-1994.html

Yes, TeensyLC works with Adafruit CC3000. Use the CC3000 library from the Teensyduino installer. The one on Adafruit's site has a bug.

If TeensyLC is powered by USB, connect VIN to the CC3000's 5V power input.

I have personally tested this. It works.
