I just got my Teensy 3.1 device and am trying to run basic sketches via the tutorial and I must say that so far I'm pretty annoyed at the way nothing seems to work.

Details: I've tried this on both my mac pro 10.6.8 and my macbook air 10.8

When I plug in the teensy it starts blinking (slow blink) just fine. After I installed the newest Teensyduino libraries into arduino and install the Teensy program: I then run the Arduino program, set the device as teensy3.1 in the board settings, I try running the basic blink program where I alter the pin number to 13 and change the refresh rate from 1000 to 100 for a faster blink as a test. When I verify the sketch it pops open the teensy loader then I'm told to press the black button on teensy to upload the sketch at which point nothing happens. The light goes away but I don't see any window updates or notifications about "upload complete" no "reboot ok" on the teensy app. When I replug the device it's obvious the sketch hasn't been uploaded as I don't see any change in the blink rate of the lights.

So what's the problem then?

Thanks,
-Cere
