This is mostly a question for Paul...
I've successfully created my own custom Teensy 3.1 board using one of the PJRC Mini54 bootloader chips and a MK20DX256VLH7 as used on Teensy 3.1.
But, my project would really benefit from an added SPI port as available on several other Freescale chips that are very closely related, e.g. the MK20DX256VLK7.
Is there any chance that the PJRC Mini54 might allow the upload of firmware to one of these chips? And that Teensyduino would compile it properly? (Aside from me having to hack my own SPI library to address the extra SPI port, which I'm confident in doing.)
