Software to build project layout?

Hello guys,

Id like to know which software are you guys using to build your project layout?

I'm not looking for the circuit but really the design of the project. (Pot, buttons, etc).

Eagle. Steep learning curve but good tutorials over at Sparkfun and many libraries to choose from. Osh park accepts Eagle BRD files directly.
 
Tell us a little about the level of complexity?

For small projects I just breadboard them
 
What I ment is, I want to build a Midi controller, and Id like to see how everything could fit and the position of every parts. So Im looking for a designing app of some sort. Maybe even a CAD app would work.
