How can I send new code to users so they can re load a teensey 3.2 ?

Assuming Teensey working etc, its 'just' to flash a new image via the USB .

I could send the source files, and have them install Arduino then the Teensey loader,
but that sounds wrong,

would be much nicer if I could send a single say bin or hex file, and have them run a single program on there machines.

any pointers please appreciated

There is also uTasker http://www.utasker.com/forum/index.php?topic=1869.0 if you are looking at more exotic loading approaches and can afford the overhead (money and part count), or if you like living life on the bleeding edge watch progress here

Anything that moves away from the USB loading approach will bring the risk that a customer will brick the Teensy and their device, where USB despite having a number of steps for the less tech savy will either work or it won't. And if it goes really wrong (cable pulled halfway) there is still the 'reload' button. How they access that is an interesting design question.

thank you

we've found in the past simple is best,
and yes good point, , a pin hole for the reload button could well be a good idea.
thanks for that.

Are the newer 3.0+ boards support by the Windows command line tool? Sorry to ask, but I don't have a Windows machine to test and the information page makes it sound like they aren't.
