USB HID on Teensy 3.2

I see in the libraries of teensey that I have a RawHid example.

But when I run the windows program here,

the windows just says "Waiting for device :" and lots of dots.

looking back over the RawHid on the web above, it seems to point to a blinky program, no the RawHid example from the library.

Should the RawHid example work with the hid_listen windows program , or do I need to tweek something ?

Yes, but that's the wrong program. You need the one from this page:

now totaly confused.

in the arduino program, I have the option to open the file -> Examples -> Teensy -> USB_Rawhid -> Basic.

Is there a windows program to receive the HID packets from that ?

yup, on that page. Look for the link "RawHid Test for Windows". It's the 6th of the 7 download files.

When you run it, you should see something very similar to the screenshot, except it'll be a Windows command prompt instead of a Linux/gnome terminal window.

Why I could not get that to work I do not know,

but now have raw hid test running just fine....
