Hi guys, i wanted to ask you some questions about teensy and the library OctoWS2811 before i buy all the necessary.
I would like to know if with the OctoWS2811 library i could drive led compositions that aren't rectangular or square, the project that i want to realize is a circle-shaped display composed by ws2812 strips with different lenghts.
It would be a thing like that: http://pichost.me/2026562/ (sorry for the poor image ), the number of lines that i have in mind is like 15-16, so i can't connect every strip to a different output of the teensy.
Second: The videodisplay example implies that you work on a square or rectangular shaped display, can be modified to work on a screen like mine?
Third: I'm playing with ws2812 with an arduino that i have at the moment but when i connect them to an ATX power supply they flicker a lot! Could it be that i need a dummy load on one of the rails of the power supply?
I'm not a native english speaker so forgive my mistakes.
Every comment or suggestion is very appreciated.
Thank you in advance, Diego.
