Octo2811 question

When mounted, is the Vin pin of Teensy 3.2 connected to the +5v of the Octo2811?

Answer - yes - i tested with an ohmmeter.

Yes. If you need them separate, that's what the VUSB-VIN pads are for on the bottom side of your Teensy. If you're permanently soldering it to the Octo board, you would need to cut that before soldering the pins!
