    Line Wobbler: Teensy 3.2 + Accelerometer + Audio + 5m LED strip = 1D Dungeon Crawler

    Hey all!

I'm Robin, and I just wanted to show off a little project I've been working on called Line Wobbler (project website).
It's a one-dimensional dungeon crawler based on a teensy, a spring joystick (with an MPU6050 acceleromter on top), old-school audio, and running on an 5m long APA102 LED strip, at 120+fps!
It's been super well received since we (I and Matthias Maschek) came up with it at a game jam about a year ago, and has won several indie game prizes, amongst others the AMAZE Berlin WTF!? Award and the IndieCade Game Design award last year.

Here's some photos and a video:

Credits go also to the London Hackspace, where I lasercut, soldered, sawed and 3D printed the parts for this game.

The teensy made everything so incredibly easy, I'm quite happy how it's been going, and I hope I can show it to as many kids (and drunk adults) as possible in the future
