APA 102 on teensy

Hey,

I aready have some experience with teensy and WS8212B driven by the Okto2811 / FastLed Library.
For the next project I use the APA 102 / DotStar Stribes.
Since the Okto2811 Library can drive about 8000 Pixels on 30fps with parallel output on 8 pins my question is: How is the performance with APA 102. Since they don't have the slow refresh limitation, there shouldnt be the need for parallel output.

I would like to about 6000 Pixels on one pin, or 10 x 600 Pixels on 10 pins or any mix in between. Will it work?

I am running 800 APA102 LEDs as four 200 LED strips in parallel, i.e. all four strips display the same pattern and are controlled from the same clock and data pins.

It works. I'm refreshing them every 3 milliseconds.
