USB > DMX issue

[Undermix]

I'm trying to make a dmx interface for freestyler/qlc+ but I have a "small" problem.
I searched for similar projects and I found that I need Enttec open DMX driver, teensy and a rs485 interface (like MAX485).
I built the Hardware side of the project, tested it with code downloaded from internet and it worked.

The problem is that freestyler and QLC+ doesn't recognize teensy.

Teensy is in Serial Mode.



I also tried usb to serial sketch that come with teensyduino (no way).

A couple years ago I made a little project that emulated a small subset of the Entec protocol... just enough for compatibility with Vixen. May or may not actually help, but here's all the info.

im trying to achieve exactly the same thing. Ever managed to get it working?

That project worked great with Vixen version 2.

It was never tested with Vixen 3 or any other software. Since it's only a subset of the Entec protocol, might not work with other programs if they use other commands.
