Hi all,

I have Teensy 3.1 USB communication working from 3x AAA batteries in series (4.5v), is there any trick to make it work from 3v like there is with the teensy 2 (connect UCAP to 3v)?

Perhaps bypassing the regulator input and going straight to Vin?

The "trick" is the built-in regulator will accept lower voltage, but you may not have USB after some point. You can power the T3.1 through the 3.3v input, but you run a greater risk of destroying the Teensy. There's been a ton of discussion of power including your question, so you might try searching.
