Hello

I've been directed here form the Arduino forum with a query which is not about Teensy, which I mainly use, but about another processor which I use from time to time (eg Arduino Pro mini etc).

The issue is that the standard Arduino wire examples do not compile under Arduino 1.6.11. The details are here:

http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=428101.0

It is alleged that as the error is reported at a line which does not exist in the standard wire.cpp that Teensyduino must have re-installed it.

I can get around it, but it would be nice to know....

You should post the details of the error here - especially since they were cut short on the other forum - per: "Forum Rule: Always post complete source code & details to reproduce any issue! "

Also the IDE 1.6.11 wasn't a long lasting one for some varied reasons - maybe start clean with 1.6.12 - see it work before installing TeensyDuino - then install TeensyDuino 1.31b1 ( or current 1.30 ) and see if the problem gives errors you can post here that could lead to a fix.
