MIDI-to-DMX for Keyboard and Electronic Drums

Here's a few videos. I've been working on some new (or rarely done) concepts such as fade-offs, color changes, color mixing, and translations. The first two videos use the Teensy Audio Adapter for playback of converted MIDI files.

Note Colors for Keyboard (MIDI file used, but it also works with live keyboard.)

    Note Positions for Keyboard

    Drums: Color Changes

    Drums: Translating Lights

If there's enough interest here, I'm considering designing and selling a MIDI-to-DMX shield for Teensy, possibly full kits and drill templates for installing inside boxes. Thanks for taking a look. Curious to hear how much interest there is...

Almost a year of silence on my thread. That's okay, I know there are people out there that want to do this because people occasionally email me. I decided not to sell a product at this time, but here's a web page I made with photos, code, and detailed instructions:

    Enjoy!
