Teensy LC with Audio board

Hi, noob question.

Is it possible to use the Teensy LC with the audio adapter board?

I'm building a project for my niece and it will be a permanent installation so I'm looking to keep the cost low.

What does the installation do? Depending on your needs you might be better with LC and the PROP_LC: prop_shield_lowcost.html

The LC - doesn't have this:: "Teensy 3.0 & 3.1 & 3.2 have the Cortex-M4 DSP instructions which provide plenty of computational power for real-time FFT (spectrum analysis), opening up the possibility of creating advanced sound-reactive projects."

Right now you can get 'old stock' Teensy 3.0's while supply lasts for $9.50:: teensy3.html
If you only need one time buy you can get these, worst case you'd need to use T_3.2's for later replacements.

Hm, the LC is not supported by the audio-library.

If you don't need full 16 bit quality or stereo, may you can get by with the built in DAC and ADC.
