Teensy 3.5 3.6 S.D. Card

If I used the 3.5 or 3.6 with a SD card if I embed the components with only a USB hanging out can I load file to the SD via the USB cable?

Specifically a bitmap or video file.

I don't believe that's possible yet. If/when it is I'd jump on it too because it would make things easier on my current project.

? sure, write a sketch that receives the data and writes to sd.

If you mean 'does it already exist' the answer is no, you'd be putting together something yourself but most of the parts are already there and just need plumbing together.

if you don't have a tool of choice already processing would be the easiest tool to turn a file into bytes and dump it out, see the Octo library example that turns video into a feed for pixel displays. One advantage of doing this is that you can write the file in a format best fitted to your playback mechanism.
