With a 'normal' ili9341 is impossible to obtain this kind of graphics right?

It's a display made by ChiMei EL and contains a Samsung controller.
Quickly scanning through the datasheet, makes me think it can run on any Teensy since it seems to have a regular SPI interface.

Programming the device is the real challenge I guess.

The specs shown on aliexpress link show 320x240 and 2.8" matching the ILI9341 - but the ILI9341 on PJRC comes touch enabled as well and under one quarter the cost of US $60?

With FrankB's SPI DMA update at video rates that screen rate might work on a T_3.6 - but I don't see an indication of what processor was driving that? And where the data was coming from - canned or on the fly? If that device has a parallel hardware interface and the processor driving it was more than the power of a Teensy that would explain the apparent performance more than the display itself.
