DAC freaking out with IR distance sensor

Hi, something really weird is happening. I have a circuit that works perfectly with audio over usb, with a soft pot and a sharp IR distance sensor, but when I use the DAC (A14) it freaks out. It emits a really annoying high frequency, like really fast pulses. When I take the positive or the ground terminals of the IR everything works fine. I have other potentiometers in the circuit hooked up in the same manner, but just the IR makes that. I tried with two models of IR (the Sharp ones) and different cables, and it still happens. Even if I'm not reading the input, it's just a matter of having both ground and positive to make this sound. I tried all the positive and ground possibilities on Teensy (3.2).
Any help, please?

Ps: I'm not posting the code because it happens regardless of the code.

So for code a basic analog write to the DAC and having he sensor powered from the Teensy 3.3V is all it takes?

Sounds like you are hearing the transmit pulses from the sensor. Adding a filter cap may help, or you may find you need a separate higher spec power supply.
