So I noticed we have a method for fast switching called digitalWriteFast() is there a similar thing for switching the pinMode? (I know you can do it AVR style, but thats not really future proof or encouraged)
I'm using the pinMode as a way to change the pulse of a stepper driver and noticed it crashes if the interrupt gets below 11 microseconds.
