HalfKay cannot be entered from software consistently

The code from this page leaves the Teensy running neither the application nor the boot loader if an external reset has happened (the reset button has been used) since the last power-on reset.

That code only works on the older 8 bit Teensy boards. It won't work in Teensy LC or 3.x.

I'm using a Teensy 2.0.

Somehow it's working now. I'm not sure what went wrong.
