Hello,

I've been trying to design a synthesizer module for my own use around the teensy audio board. I plan to have the sgtl5000 on my board and an external teensy board controlling everything.
I've ordered a pcb that i've done from seeedstudio, but it's not working ... can someone with a better eye take a look at my schematic and help me were i went wrong? please don't laugh:p

Here is my schematic:

And the original:

I don't see anything obviously wrong in the schematic.

Can you be more specific about "not working"?

Hopefully Teensy is sending MCLK, BCLK and LRCLK, right?

Does the SGTL5000 respond to I2C communication? (it will be lifeless without MCLK, so check MCLK first)

If the I2C communication works, does initializing the chip bring VAG up to about 1.6V? (compare with a known good audio shield)

Thank you Paul for you're help.
I managed to find my error, my pcb uses an AP7313 SOT23 and i had a AP7313 SOT23R installed.
Now it's working! but i'm getting a terrible noise, I guess i have more troubleshoot to do tomorrow.

I did not connect the thermal pad to ground like is suggested in the datasheet, could this be causing the noise on my board?
