WIZ850io + FastLED APA102

Hello, today arrived the WIZ850io and worked like a charm.
I'm sending UDP packets directly to the LEDs, but I have a question.

I couldn't use the standard pins 7 / 14 for DATA CLOCK, it used to hang the software.
Using different pinout I was able to make everything run.

I suppose it is something to do with spi transactions but no idea.
Is that supposed to run? should I have some command of SPI transaction before and after FastLED update?

FastLED has a Google+ group for questions. Might work best to ask there. I'd recommend posting a small (but complete) Arduino sketch as part of your question, so the FastLED folks can see exactly what you're trying to do.
