SPI display with no chip select - how to connect it

I just received this SPI display 2.4 inch but is has no chip select. Anyone have an idea how to connect it?

Why do you buy a display without knowing the pins...? Do you know which chip it uses ?

It uses the ILI9341 chip. I didn't notice lack of CS pin.

Maybe RES=CS, BLK = Backlight ?
Edit: Hm, no, RES is more likely, reset..

You could try using the regular libraries and just not connect the CS signal. Worst case is you waste some time.

I know this may be a silly question, but have you tried asking the seller for assistance? If they reply at all, seems unlikely it'll be helpful. Still, I'm curious to hear if they reply and what they have to say.

I've since contacted the manufacturer and will post what I find out.

I'm getting tire of chasing these Chinese manufacturers around for basic details.

I once, long ago, dealt with this very problem by ANDing the device's clock signal with another I/O pin used as a pseudo-CS.
