Circular 6-position connector for PCB - Teensy DAQ project

Hi everyone,

we are developing DAQ system based on Teensy. Currently system supports sampling 10kHz on 10 pins from Teensy 3.2.

Now we are developing second revision of the PCB but I am unable to find circular connectors for sensors (6-positions) to mount on PCB, possibly with angular pins.

Does anyone has any solution for that?

I have been looking on farnell and mouser quiet a lot but without any good findings.

have you tried searching for a 6 position din plug and socket?

Do you need circular? Would rectangular also do?

There is the old PS/2 port (mini-DIN) that firehopper mentioned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS/2_port

For 6 pins, I might think about using a 2x3 shrouded header, such as https://www.pololu.com/product/854

Or maybe a RJ-12, 6P6C connector that is similar to the RJ-11 plug used on many US phone lines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modular_connector, or even step up to RJ-45/8P8C that is often used for ethernet cables.
