Please excuse this absurdly basic question, but if I'm powering 5v servos from an external power supply, do I need to worry about the control signal voltage going from my Teensy (3.2) to the servos? (i.e. does it need to be 5v as well?) Conversely, if I'm getting control input from a 5v device, regardless of whether it has separate control and power leads, I'm assuming I need to use a voltage divider to bring the control input down to 3.3v? Is this correct?
And... On your servo info page, you show what looks to be a solderless "header board"... or is it soldered? If the former, is it a custom design (I've had terrible trouble with unstable breadboard connections causing my ESP8266 to lose its router connection but am still prototyping so not quite ready to solder stuff in place. Something with more reliable connections would be really nice.)
