Hey All,
Just wondering if wiring the positive side of Line-In and Microphone to the same lug on a 3.5mm jack and then just wiring either the ground of the Line-In or Microphone to the ground lug would cause any problems. I have an app where users can choose between microphone or line-in, and previously was wiring to separate jacks and was wondering if I could save space by connecting both to the same jack. I did a quick prototype and so far have not noticed any issues other than a non-powered microphone now works when line-in is selected (previously would not.)
Thank you!
