Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone has come across a similar display to the Ableton Live Push 2 display? I've searched the inter webs for an OLED or LCD with similar dimensions (wide screen) and have been unable to find any or any manufacturer that would produce such a display?

I've though about having two 5 inch displays side by side but that kind of takes away the objective of a single widescreen electronics display.

Obviously the would be similar to the Native Instruments Maschine Studio dual display.

The next question would be if the Teensy 3.6 could power such a display?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks :)

Not seen that name by reference - 5" sounds big - what pixel counts are involved? What interface? SPI? Also what is the controller on the display - it may not be compatible with a currently written library and would require that. Would require time proportionate to the number of pixels being updated - so it may not be 'fast' - but if it has good interface speed it should be usable. The fastest and most common 2.8" ILI9341 used has 240x320 pixels and has good update speed - and at the limit of RAM on a T_3.6 it can even be buffered for a single display. More pixels or two displays wouldn't have that full screen RAM buffer and DMA update option. Though some larger screens have their own internal buffer and screen handling and work differently.
