IT WORKS on Frank's PCB - re-soldered circled pin and added indicated wire:
It took some heat to redo that circled pin - it didn't seem to be soldered to the board. The solder was maybe just on the pin - first melt just pulled solder to the iron.
This is MSFT after soldering, then HotSwap to Logitech, then swap back to MSFT, then hot to the 'Mouse/Key' combo Logitech.
And to confirm BOTH WORK with the MOUSE sample!
I see left(1) and right(2) and click of wheel(4) button and wheel and movement [+ and -].
I hot swapped back to the other two, then returned to the COMBO and the mouse and keyboard still report.
